User and application login credentials are stored encrypted in our secure database. Communication between the app server and database is shielded from the public Internet.
All communication between Portadi and the client browser is encrypted using TLS. All web servers are only accessible via HTTPS.
Portadi is hosted on Amazon Web Services and uses Heroku as its application platform provider. The application and the database tiers are run in redundant instances.
Portadi is designed as a state-less system with a microservices architecture. This provides for instant fail-over, no-downtime upgrades and better scaling.
Portadi is monitored 24/7 by our dev ops team for uptime, availability, performance and irregularities.
Users can protect their personal Portadi account with 2-factor authentication. When users with 2FA sign in to Portadi, they need to provide a one-time password from Google Authenticator.
